Being in college I feel it's appropriate to discuss Kidz in the Hall. Jabri Evans and Michael Aguilar a.k.a. Naledge and Double-O respectively. Naledge is a Chi- Town native while Double-O hails from Jersey. Back to the college part.
They met in the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and became Kidz in the Hall as we know today. They unite as Double-O being the beat maker/ rapper and Naledge being the rapper. They break mold from Gangsta rap taking "collegiate/ intellectual" approach to rap. They also don't mind rappin' about kicks and just chillin'. Here's their song Mr. Alladatshit feat.
