His Mojo's quite Dope
Here's Cudi's new video for "Mojo's So Dope". How cool is it to make mega money and have fun while doing it? I want this lifestyle!!!!!! Enjoy...........(Christopher Colas).
Mindless Behavior
Last night I was doing my usual channel scan, and I stopped at the music Hit list channel. and I came across this video. These boys in this video are the cutest. Obviously their work ethic is on point. The quality of the song and the choreography just shoes that young performers are coming in to set the bar. Hopefully they don't become one hit wonders. Enjoy this video: My girl By Mindless Behavior.

name beside an X like Malcolm
Jay Electronica's been signed!!!!! To who? None other than Jay- Z's Roc Nation label! Here's Jay-Z making the official announcement. Honestly, I'm a little upset. I thought that since he worked with Mos Def a lot he would go with G.O.O.D music, but hey....at least it wasn't Young Money. (He wouldn't do that!..........would he?)
Here's Jay Elect's first performance as a Roc Nation signee.

Looks like I've gotta add something to my wish list.
The Best of 2000's week 3
You know the deal, so lets get right to it.
Album #8
One Republic- Dreaming Out Loud
This was the band's first album, after years of touring, they finally released the songs they had been playing at concerts for years. The album was full of hits, "Mercy", "Apologize", "Come Home", and "All I Need", just to name a few. The bands vocals and instrumentals are excellent, and the songs are very solemn. One Republic is definitely a standout in the crowded Alternative Rock genre.
Movie #8
Bad Boys 2
The best idea ever, put Martin Lawrence and Will Smith together in an R-rated movie with guns, girls, and villains set in Miami. That my friends is the recipe for a good movie. The bullets and four letter words fly fast, and the action is engaging and funny. Of course, Michael Bay added Gabrielle Union just to sweeten the deal.
Game #8
Madden Series
The best (only) American football game money can buy, It would be ranked higher, but I'm partial to soccer, and it really doesn't change much year to year. (hey, I'm being honest!)

It was gorgeous fall weather today, and therefore, I spent a lot of times outdoors. Of course I dressed appropriately, just in case the weather took a turn. I wore an Aeropostale flannel, Lucky Brand vest, H&M scarf, Levis jeans, and finished it off with Puma First Round EX "Bear" (yeah, It even has fur. I took em out of retirement.....just for today.), A blue G-Shock, and.......nappy hair! (I know, I know, I need a better camera....dont worry, I asked Santa for one.)

Return of the King
After all of the controversy, all of the rumors, all of the trouble, the fact that Kanye West's album is so good speaks to his personality, he loves the controversy, it fuels him. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is by far Kanye's best work, it is among the best rap albums ever, maybe even among the best albums ever. But as Jay-Z said, "Men lie, Women lie, Numbers Dont", so dont take my word, lets see what the album sales say. This blog has ben posting many of Kanye's songs that he has released, and most of them were really good. Almost too good. You would think that maybe Kanye revealed his best cards too soon, but thats not the case. Of all the songs on the album, the ones that you've heard already are either slightly edited or remixed, and the new ones are amazing. I was impressed with Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 for having all good songs, and Kanye has managed to do the same.
I feel that Kanye's album has finally found out a good use for autotune, as a tool, and not the foundation for an album. Its used very tastefully, and not to say that 808's wasn't a good album, the autotune is just not overwhelming as it was in his last album. Its also great to see Kanye West return to a more outspoken and esoteric tone, such as in the song Power and Lost In The World. They dont compare lyrically to Crack Music (Just listen to what he says in that song!), but the songs both clearly have a meaning. Also, all of the songs stick to the albums title of a dark, twisted fantasy. To me, Kanye is trying to portray himself as a monster (obviously, the song Monster is on the album), but I think he is speaking more of as himself being his own worst enemy. Kanye has finally figured out how to be self aware and remorseful without being self-deprecating. He can speak of what he regrets without insulting himself (He did that alot in 808's, but the again, he had just lost his mom). If I had any dislikes, I have to say, more Big Sean, and where's Lil Wayne(he wasn't in jail when the album was being produced), Lupe, Pharrell, and Common?
Regardless, Kanye still managed to incorporate a lot of star power on his album. From Rihanna to Elton John, he has crossed the usual musical boundaries and this is clear even in the beats. Kanye incorporated electric guitars, pianos, synthesizers, and African influenced music into the album, again setting himself apart from the typical rap sound.
Overall, this album is a must purchase, a truly memorable album. If this is Kanye West's last album, well it's an amazing farewell. Leave it to Kanye to create an album that feels like an event. My question is............. whats next?
My Chains Been Heavy
So if you've been following Kanye & his Good Fridays, you might think that he just wrote Chain Heavy pretty recently right? Wrong. Here's a video of him doing his thing at Facebook's office (weird), the video was uploaded July 27. The man does his work....(Jose)
Tomoya Shioi
Tonight was a pretty chill night. My college bud is an exchange student from Japan. As we should know Tokyo is one of the fashion capitals. His mixes of clothing makes for sick and practical outfits. Tonight was casual. He's wearing a vintage black Lacoste polo, a burgundy Who.A.U cardigan, Uniqlo skinny jeans, Nike Air Terminator, accessories include a dark green beanie and a Marc Jacobs key ring. Enjoy..............(Christopher Colas).

Bass Down Low
The "Like A G6" club hit was sick. The Chic who was the chorus of that song is named "Dev". Her voice is sick(with all the effects of course). But this song "Bass Down Low" she mad with
"The Cataracs" is sick. Enjoy...........(Christopher Colas).
Shook Ones
Diggy Simmons is finally back and musically viral. His last music video was "Made You Look", a Nas rendition. His latest "Shook Ones" is dope. They both still have that early nineties feel though. Diggy also sports his new apparel company called "Chivalrous Culture". Enjoy.......(Christopher Colas).

Best of 2000's day 2
Here's this weeks #9 best of music, movies and games. Comment for your ideas for next week.
Justin Timberlake-Future Sex/Love Sounds
One word, Wow. To go from a played out boy band to a chart topping R&B singer in a matter of years is amazing. Mr. Timberlake managed to set the tone of R&B in the post R. Kelly, pre Trey Songz era. With Timbaland in the background, Future Sex/Love Sounds sounded unlike anything else at the time(hence the title). The music videos were interesting, well thought out, and get this, well acted. The greatest thing about this album is that its still good, even today. The songs dont sound played out, and they still feel fresh. I am very much looking forward Timberlake's next album.
Casino Royale
A new Bond, a new story, a new villain. Daniel Craig's James Bond is easily the best in the series, why? He's the most realistic. Theres no laser watch or remote controlled car with missiles to save him, just his gun and his wit. The new Bond is a novice and hasn't "seen it all" yet. He still makes mistakes, and pays for them. Even if you dont agree that he's the best Bond, he's the most human.
Split Second
This game is the best new idea in racing games since Burnout. You're a contestant on a T.V. show, racing to the top. You have a whole city at you're disposal, and you can trigger events to turn the city into a weapon against your opponents. Its fun, fast and nerve racking.

Swagged Out Dorm
Yes, dorm rooms do have swag now if you were wondering. Two of our friends, Kevin and Lakim, at Saint Mike's were fortunate enough to end up with a triple size dorm (a dorm that's for 3 people if you were confused). Their room prior to renovation was just "decent". But "decent" was unacceptable. "Interior designer", Chris Colas would take charge. Days of careful planning and hard work would transform a "decent dorm" to a " sick-ass spot". Words can't describe it, here just check it out for yourself...(Leon)
